The Story Behind JesuSONdeck: A Veteran's Journey
When the founder left the Marines in 2017 after 8 years of service, he knew he wanted to create something that combined his faith with his passion for skateboarding.
Skating was always his escape, his way of clearing his head. When he came home from deployment, it was the board that helped him process everything he'd been through.
The idea for JesuSONdeck came during a particularly difficult time. He was struggling with the transition back to civilian life, and found himself drawn back to his faith and his board. He started carving scripture verses into old decks, just for himself at first.
Friends started asking for their own custom boards, and word spread through the veteran community. What started as a hobby became a mission: to create boards that carry meaning.
Today, every board that leaves our workshop is anointed with oil and prayed over. It's not just a product—it's a piece of our story, passed on to yours.
