The Story Behind JESUSONDECK: A Veteran's Journey
When the founder left the Marines in 2017 after 8 years of service, he knew he wanted to create something that combined his faith with his passion for skateboarding.
"Skating was always my escape, my way of clearing my head," the founder recalls. "When I came home from deployment, it was the board that helped me process everything I'd been through."
The idea for JESUSONDECK came during a particularly difficult time. "I was struggling with the transition back to civilian life, and I found myself drawn back to my faith and my board. I started carving scripture verses into old decks, just for myself at first."
Friends started asking for their own custom boards, and word spread through the veteran community. What started as a hobby became a mission: to create boards that carry meaning, that remind riders of something greater than themselves.
Today, every board that leaves our workshop is anointed with oil and prayed over. It's not just a productβit's a piece of our story, passed on to yours.
"Whether you're a believer or just appreciate the craftsmanship, I want every person who rides our boards to feel the intention behind it," the founder says. "This isn't just about skating. It's about carrying something meaningful with you."
Semper Fi, and bless the rail.
